Yesterday (sunday the 17th) was the 27th annual Sun Run in vancouver. And the first canadian since 1998 won!! his name was Eric Gillis and he was from Ontario. This event really gives me a sence of canadian pride. Of course winning the Sun Run is not the most important part of it at all. It is great that every year in Vancouver B.C. hundreds of people get together to raise thousands of dollars for charity. This year they raised 50,000 dollars for the raise-a-reader program, and 70,000 dollars for the Harry Jerome International Track and Field Classic. I personally hope the sun run will continue on for many many many many many years to come!!!! (to many, manys? I THINK NOT!!!!)
